Martha Louise is pregnant!

Princess Martha Louise and Ari Behn announced this morning, they are expecting their second child. The baby is due in the middle of April 2005 and the birth will take place at the Rikshospitalet University Hospital in Oslo.

According to the press release from the Royal Palace, the princess, 32, is in good health and a normal pregnancy is expected. The happy couple has a daughter from before, Maud Angelica, born on April 29, 2003.

The news will not affect the couple's plans to move the US in October. Princess Martha Louise and Ari Behn delayed their plans to move to New York City in 2003, due to the pregnancy of their first child, and Martha wanted to give birth in Norway. Then King Harald was diagnosed with cancer, and then the Crown Prince expected his first child - and Martha wanted to stay in Norway.

The birth of their daughter, Maud Angelica, was the first royal baby born in Norway, since Crown Prince Hakon was born in 1973.
