Over the years when David Kulaas worked as a nature photographer, he accumulated a lot of wild flower pictures. This was an inspiration for the design on the scarves. The images have been manipulated in many ways and he call them "Floral Abstarctions."
Made of light weight satin silk with hand rolled and sewn hems. The gradation and shading are not found in traditionally printed fabrics. New dye technology makes these prints very fade resistant.
David Kulaas is a truly born again Norwegian, with both parents and granparents all grew up in Norway. He is located in Colorado, where he gets inspiration from the wild flower life.
